Day 37: Today I went to my morning class, chapel, and to lunch with Kate and Olivia. After a little while, Johnny came and sat with us also. I went to my last class of the day and then to the library. I finished my quizzes and maps for my NT class. The entire time that I was in the library, this guy named Jeremy talked to me about Jeremy John Coffee (his coffee franchise). We talked about my blog page on Facebook and he asked me if I would design him a logo for his coffee franchise. After a while, I went to my NT class.When class was done, I drove over to Katie, Kara, Kerri, and Marissa’s apartment to watch the end of The Bachelor with everyone. They have pictures of each of the girls from the show posted in their living room. Each week, they cross out the girl who didn’t receive a rose and is now off of the show. Since we watch The Bachelor every Monday, I decided to use a picture of their wall for today’s picture. After the bachelor, I stayed and worked on my blog for a while. Then I went back to my apartment for the night.

Day 38: This morning I got up and watched Modern Family for a while. I took a couple pictures of the chalkboard in my and Sam’s room. We painted it on the wall at the beginning of the semester. Each time someone visits our apartment, a rule is that they have to draw something on the chalkboard wall. Obviously, many drawings have accumulated over the semester. Since it is the beginning of the second semester, we decided to take a picture of it so that we could erase it and start over. I, then, drove to Target to pick up the pajamas that I had bought for Kate for her birthday. They were already sold so I looked for similar pajamas in Nordstrom Rack, TJ Max, JCPenny, and finally found two pairs at Macy’s. After hearing about the gift that I had got her, Kate decided to get me a pair of footie pajamas also. So I picked up a pair of Zebra print pajamas and a pair of peace sign print pajamas. Then, I went back to school for my Film A-Z class. After class, I had a meeting with Kay for an hour to talk about classes, etc. I met with Phil for a little while, after that, to discuss classes also. I went over to the library for a little while to work on homework and sat with Rob and Kate. Later, Mindy, Sam, Rob, and I all went to Applebees to eat. I got the chicken tender basket…that will probably always be one of my favorite foods there. I had to go to study table for two hours once we got back to school. After study table, I met Kate in the locker room (after the rest of the team was done working out) and gave her her pajamas. She ended up picking out the zebra print pair and I kept the peace sign PJs. Then, I went back to my apartment for the rest of the night.

Day 36: This morning, I went back to my apartment and got ready. Then I met Heidi, Larissa, and Roda at the Hansen Center for church. After church, we went over to the cafeteria for lunch. Heidi and I went to Meijer and Alde’s, after lunch, to pick up food to take to the Super Bowl party at Amy’s house. We bought food to make a cheese/chili chip dip. Around 5:30, we met at Larissa’s apartment. The food that Larissa and Roda made to bring to the party was chocolate covered strawberries. They looked so beautiful that I decided to take a picture of them for today’s pic. Once Larissa and Roda were ready, we picked Abi up and then left to go to Amy’s house. Kim, Chelsea, Doug, Shell, Brian N., Josh, Jacob and a couple of Amy’s friends from high school were there also. We all ate the delicious food, that had been made, and watched the football game. There were some really funny commercials this year. A couple of my favorites were commercials that advertised for Doritos and M&Ms. I also liked the Seinfield, Ferris Buehler, and vampire commercials that advertised different cars. Chelsea and I played against Doug in a game of Foosball…sadly, we lost. After the game was done, we all went back to our apartments for the night. I updated my blog, then went to bed.

Day 35: Today I had to get up and go to a church in Byron Center with Lisa and Megan for our sports marketing class. Our entire class split up and went to different churches to promote the guys home basketball game next week to the Upward Basketball teams and cheerleaders. Upward is a program through churches all over the state that has basketball teams, cheerleading teams, etc. We were at the church from 9 until about 11:30 when we ran out of flyers. Then we headed back to CU. I sat in the library and worked for a little bit then walked over to the Hansen Center for the girls basketball game vs. Indiana Tech. I sat with Alicia and her mom at the game. Heidi came and sat with us after a little while also. I took quite a a few pictures of the game. One of those pictures was of Mel and another was of Adam holding up a sign for her. I decided to collage the two pictures together for today’s picture. In case you can’t read his sign, it says “Gettin’ Married To #3 in 173 Days”. After the game, Heidi and I went back to her apartment to work on homework. We went to supper around 7:00. They had steak and fries. It was delicious! I even saved a few to eat later haha :) We ate with Doug, Jake, and Shell. We went back to Heidi’s apartment after that. Jodi and Jeff were there when we got back and Lauren came back not to long after them. We watched some episodes of Modern Family and used our computers for the rest of the night.

Day 34: This morning I decided to go get McDonald’s breakfast and then to Chapel. I went to both of my afternoon classes after that. When classes were done, I went into the library to finish Kate’s birthday gift. I gave her 5 Duits Dollars. On Tuesdays, we often go to 7-Eleven to get slushies and to Little Ceasars for the dollar breadsticks. I told her that each of the Duits Dollars were worth either a $1 breadstick or a slushy. I also got her a pair of footie pajamas to go with the Duits Dollars. I worked out after finishing Kate’s gift. Later, Sam, Mel, and I went over to Kate’s house for game night. Jodi, Heidi, Doug, Mitch, Megan, and Alex were there also. We played Jungle Speed, Banana-grams, and a new game that Kate taught us (I don’t remember the name). We also watched Mulan. We stayed for a while and then left to go back to our apartment for the night. The picture that I used for today is of Kate holding up the five Duits Dollars that I gave her.

Day 33: This morning I had a short photo shoot with Monroe the cat. I chose two of my favorite pictures that I took of him to use for today’s picture. A little bit later, I went to the academic center for an hour of tutoring for my accounting class. After that, I went to my Film A-Z class. When that was done, I walked over to the library to work on homework, editing pictures, and updating my blog. I went back to my apartment after a while. Lund was there when I got back. She had come over to stay the night. Sam and I watched the Lion King. I love that movie but I always cry when Mufasa dies…definitely one of the saddest moments in movie history. We all watched Modern Family once the Lion King was done. I stayed up later that night and worked on more homework and watched the Lion King two on Rob’s phone. After watching the first Lion King, I just had to watch the second.

Day 32: Today, I had to go to study table for an hour and then had my first class of the day. Afterwards, I needed to get some books and workout clothes from my car before going to chapel. I started to look for my keys and realized I had no clue where they were…until I got back to my locked car where I found them in the ignition. My roommate, Melissa, took me back to our apartment to get my spare key. That’s when I realized that the spare key was in the one bag that I chose to leave home after Christmas break. I ended up going to campus safety to get help. Luckily, they were able to unlock my car for me. By that time I had missed chapel so I went over to my 2nd class of the day, Accounting 2. Once that class was over, I went to the library to do some homework while I waited to go to my Sports Marketing class. I sat with Olivia while I was there. We were sitting in the upstairs of the library at the time. I thought the view from the upstairs window looked really cool so I asked Olivia to sit on the windowsill for a picture. I had her look out the window, took a couple pictures of her, then decided to use the above picture (my favorite of her) for today’s picture. Shortly after, I left to go to sports marketing. Once the class was over, I went to the Hansen Center to do my workout for the day. Heidi came in to workout right as I was leaving. I sat in the locker room on my computer and waited for Heidi to come back. Then, Heidi, Lauren, and I walked over to the cafeteria together to go to dinner. We went back to their apartment once we were done eating. Jodi was back, by that time, from student teaching. Olivia came over for a while, also, to watch Pretty Little Liars with Jodi. For the rest of the night, we all sat on our computers and I worked on editing pictures and updating my blog/Facebook page before going to bed.

Day 31: This morning I dropped Robyn off at her class then drove to the Hansen Center. I stopped, on my way in, to get a couple pictures of the HC. It was a really nice day and all the snow was melting. It looked more like a day in late April instead of the 31st of January. After taking a couple of pictures I went to the locker room to finish getting ready. I walked over to the library, after that, and sat with Robyn, Kayleigh, and Junior while we worked on our computers. We all left to go to our classes after a while. After class I went to dinner in the cafeteria with a group of people and then spent the next few hours in the library. Later that night, I had to go to study table for 2 hours. While I was in study table, the rest of the volleyball team was working out in the weight room across the hall. Towards the end of the two hours I was in there, you could hear people running around. My friends, Matt and Jordan, ran into the room to get Paul (the track coach who supervises study table) and he ran out of the room with them. You could still hear people yelling to each other. Finally, Paul came back in the room and announced that Ryan (our volleyball coach) had started having seizures during the workout and was being taken by ambulance to the hospital. Study table lasted only a couple more minutes after that. Once I got out, I called Abby to see where everyone was, then went to the hospital to meet up with the rest of the team. Our assistant coach, Dave, and his family came to the hospital as well as our athletic directer. We stayed at the hospital for a while and all took turns going back to visit Ryan. Before we left, we all held hands and prayed as a team. I think the fact that almost every person on our team came to the hospital really shows how close we are and how much we care for each other. There are few bonds stronger than the ones created by being part of a team; but, a team who is centered around God is even stronger. Day 30: This morning I went to my morning class then walked over to the Hansen Center for Chapel. After chapel I had accounting, a break, then sports marketing class. After class, I went over to the library and worked on homework for my New Testament class. I, also, had to take a quizzes before class. As soon as I was done with the quizzes, I walked over to Faber for class. We got out of class late tonight so I didn’t have time to go over to watch the end of The Bachelor. Today was also my friend, Chelsey’s, birthday but I, also, wasn’t able to go out for her birthday because class got out so late. So I just went back to my apartment. I hadn’t made it to supper tonight so I decided to make Mac&Cheese. Since it was a pretty uneventful day, I decided to take a picture of the pot that I was cooking the noodles in. Kayleigh had come over to visit. We all watched a couple movies including Save The Last Dance and Modern Family.

Day 29: Today I got up and worked on the computer, updating my blog and editing pictures. I spent most of the day working on that. Later, I went outside and played with Sophie and Nellie for a while in the snow. We played restaurant. Nellie was the waitress who would take you order and deliver it. Sophie and I took turns eating and cooking. We also jumped on the trampoline and threw snowballs for Nellie to catch. We went back inside, after playing out in the snow for a long time, and had supper. Not to long after that, I packed up my things and left to go back to school. The roads were covered in snow and ice (I even got stuck at a stop sign) so I was driving pretty slow. There weren’t many other people on the road besides me so I was able to stop on a country road on my way to school to take today’s picture. When I got back to our apartment, Robyn and Lund were there. We all watched Save the Last Dance and a few other movies then went to bed.

Day 28: This morning I got up, got ready, and went out to the school with mom, dad, Austin, grandma, and grandpa to watch Sophie play basketball. After basketball, we went back home. We were only there for a couple of hours then Austin and Sophie left to go over to stay with Jason and Ryan while my Aunt Tiffany and Uncle Mike were Lacey and Pat’s wedding. Mom, Dad, and I left shortly after them to go to the wedding also. I took both of today’s pictures out the truck window on our way to the wedding. I thought it looked really cool with the snow blowing everywhere. During the ceremony, they played a video that showed pictures of each of them as they were growing up and then pictures of them together. They also braided three ropes together and then tied a knot at the end. Each rope represent Pat, Lacey, and God coming together. Everyone waited around at the church for a little while after the ceremony and then left to go to the reception hall. The decorations were beautiful and the food tasted great. They had snowflakes hanging from the ceiling, glass bottles with candles in them in the middle of each table, a huge cake, and a hot chocolate table. There, you could get hot chocolate, cranberry apple cider, and chocolate covered marshmallows. We sat at a table with Aunt Tiffany, Uncle Mike, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Bob, and Aunt Kathy. It was nice to get to see tons of friends and family at the wedding and catch up with them. We stayed at the reception right up until about 5 minutes before it ended and then headed home for the night.

Day 27: Today I got up and went to my morning class, chapel, and then to my Accounting 2 class. After that, I met up with Kate to go to lunch in the cafeteria. Then I went to my last class of the day. I still had a lot of homework to finish up so I went to the library once all of my classes were done. I feel like I have basically been living in the library since second semester started. I sat with Megan in the library. While she worked on homework, I took a minute to take this picture. I figured since I spent most of the day in the library that this was a fitting picture for today. I stayed in the library until it closed and then moved over to the spiritual formation lounge to finish up my papers. Once I had finally finished my papers, I went back to my apartment, grabbed some clothes, then left to go home for the weekend.

Day 26: This morning, I went to the library to work on homework and edit pictures. After a while, I walked over to Bolthouse for my Film A-Z class. As soon as class was over, I drove down to Marcie and Scott’s house to let her dogs, Socks and Shadow, out while they were at work. I stayed and played with them for a couple of hours. We also had a mini photo shoot. The picture that I chose for today is of Socks, a two year old beagle. He is just so cute (but very hyper haha). After leaving their house, I went back to the library to work on a few papers. Janae was in the library, also, so I sat with her while working on homework. I saw Becky while I was there and she told me how she had got a chance to talk to the dad from Boy Meets World. He was at our school filming his latest movie. Once the library closed, Janae and I decided to go to IHOP to finish working on our homework. I tried the steak breakfast while we were there…never get stake from IHOP. It tasted alright but I probably wouldn’t get it again. I think I’ll stick to pancakes and bacon :) We stayed there for a couple of hours then left to go back to our apartments.
